THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. AMARNATH GOUD WRIT PETITION No.18676 of 2021 ORDER:

Challenging the action of the respondent authorities in not appointing the petitioner in any post pursuant to G.O.Ms.No.98 dated 15.4.1986, wherein the Government passed orders to provide 50% employment to the unemployed displaced villages due to the submergence of lands and dwellings under Lower Manair Dam, Sriramsagar Project, the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services I submitted that the subject matter of the present Writ Petition is squarely covered by the order passed in W.P.No.4164 of 2019 and batch and hence the present Writ Petition may be disposed of on the similar lines.

In that view of the matter this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner strictly in terms of G.O.Ms.No.98 dated 15.4.1986 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to observe that the respondents shall consider the application of the petitioner irrespective of the fact whether he submitted the application within one year or not from the date of issuance of the G.O.Ms.No.98 dated 15.4.1986. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
