E.Ananda Rao, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh, Rep.By Its
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 18195 OF 2013 O R D E R:
On last seven occasions, none appeared for the petitioners and there was also no representation on their behalf. Hence, on 23.09.2016, this Writ Petition was directed to be listed on 26.09.2016 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today even, none appears for the petitioners. Since this Writ Petition is of the year 2013, it has been taken up for consideration. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to shift the HT electrical lines, which are passing through SC Colony, Bakkannapalem Village, Visakhapatnam. All the petitioners claim to be the residents of Scheduled Caste Colony, Bakkannapelam Village, Visakhapatnam. It is their claim that due to passage of HT electrical lines, the residents of their colony are being subjected to electric shock.
Therefore, they made a representation to the 2nd respondent District Collector on 26.04.2012 which was communicated to Respondents 3 to 6, but no action has been taken thereon is their complaint. In the counter-affidavit filed on behalf of Respondents 3 to 6, it has been categorically asserted that these respondents have no objection for shifting the HT lines subject to payment of necessary charges either by the government or by the beneficiaries. In view of the specific contention taken in the counteraffidavit, leaving it open to the petitioners to approach the respective departments by fulfilling the conditions prescribed for shifting of HT electrical lines, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand closed.
