THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.1221 of 2016 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner was with regard to the alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities in completing the investigation in Crime No.61 of 2015 on the file of Atmakur Police Station, and filing a report thereon before the competent Court. The Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Atmakur Police Station furnished written instructions dated 04.04.2016 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that Crime No.61 of 2015 was registered on the file of Atmakur Police Station under Section 304-A I.P.C. and after completion of the investigation, a final report was prepared stating to the effect that the father of the petitioner died due to his own negligence. After obtaining due permission from the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kazipet, under proceedings dated 28.09.2015, the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police stated that notice was given to the complainant and a final report was filed before the learned I Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Warangal, vide S.R.No.1057 of 2016 dated 29.02.2016.

In the light of the afore-stated development, it is for the petitioner to take recourse to appropriate remedies in accordance with law, if he is aggrieved by the conclusion arrived at by the police authorities. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to do so, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
