Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for respondents.

2. In this Writ Petition, petitioner questions the proceedings dt.11.11.2015 of the 2nd respondent suspending the Fair Price Shop Dealership authorization of the petitioner.

3. Petitioner does not dispute the fact that a show cause notice dt.03.01.2015 had been issued to him calling upon his explanation to the same within seven days.

4. Since the petitioner, in spite of being given several opportunities, did not file his explanation, 2nd respondent had passed the impugned order of suspension. I therefore do not find any error of jurisdiction in the action of the 2nd respondent in suspending the Fair Price Shop Dealership authorization of the petitioner.

5. However, petitioner is granted two weeks time from the date of receipt of copy of this order for filing his explanation to the show cause notice dt.03.01.2015 and the 2nd respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry into the allegations against

the petitioner within three (03) months thereafter.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

7. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
