HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8074 of 2014 ORDER:
In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A2 and A3 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.196 of 2013 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Miryalaguda, which was registered against them for the offences under Section 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2) When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 07.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Miryalaguda II Town P.S, Nalgonda District and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 29.11.2014 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.196 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.
3) There is no representation for petitioners.
4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous.
