Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. 2.

Petitioner claims that she succeeded to land to an extent of Ac.5-00 in Sy.No.190/1, Yepur Village, Chityal Mandal, Nalgonda District, on the demise of her husband, who was assigned the subject land long ago. Petitioner claims to have made application to mutate her name in the revenue records on 10.09.2017. Alleging inaction on the said application, this writ petition is filed. 3.

From the material on record, it does not appear that application was made, as claimed by the petitioner. There is no endorsement of receipt of representation dated 10.09.2017 from the competent authority. Further, Government is not entertaining the applications made in physical form and if a person is interested in mutating his/her name in the revenue records, must apply in prescribed form through online web portal.

No material is placed on record to show that representation was made and acknowledged. However, as the application is not made in prescribed form, it cannot be said that the respondents are negligent in considering the application. 5.

Having regard to the same, granting liberty to the petitioner to make application in prescribed form, the Writ Petition is

dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
