With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: ".........Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not regularizing the petitioner services as wholly illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law and violative of principles of natural justice and pass such other and further order or orders..........." Heard T.Mahendar, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services-III. It has been contended by the petitioner that she was initially appointed as a part time Sweeper and later her services were converted into full time Sweeper vide proceedings dated 29.10.1990 and she has been discharging her duties to the best satisfaction of her superiors and everyone concerned. While so, when the services of the petitioner were not regularized, petitioner filed O.A.No.

4676 of 1996 before the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal and the Tribunal vide order dated 26.08.1996 allowed the said O.A. directing the respondents to pay consolidated pay of Rs.740/-plus allowances w.e.f. 27.10.1993 and also made clear that the respondents shall consider the claim of the petitioner for absorption as Gang Woman/Sweeper if there is vacancy and if the petitioner is otherwise eligible for such absorption.

Therefore, the petitioner had submitted a representation on 24.11.2015 requesting the respondents to regularize her services and also to extend the regular pay scale. But so far, the respondents have not passed any orders on the representation of the petitioner either considering or rejecting her case. Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 24.11.2015 and pass appropriate orders duly taking into account the orders passed by the Tribunal in O.A.No.4676 of 1996 dated 26.08.1996.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents contends that the case of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 24.11.2015. This Court, having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 24.11.2015 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law in terms of the orders passed by the Tribunal in O.A.No.4676 of 1996 dated 26.08.1996 within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
