THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.1086 of 2016 ORDER:

This Contempt Case was filed alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 26.02.2016 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.6288 of 2016.

By the said order, this Court directed the police authorities to take necessary action upon the petitioner's complaint dated 13.02.2016 in the light of the law laid down by the Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH[1].

Written instructions dated 14.07.2016 were furnished by the Circle-Inspector of Police, Yadagirigutta, Nalgonda District, to the Office of the learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) wherein he stated that after conducting preliminary enquiry upon the complaint, dated 13.02.2016 of the petitioner, Crime No.147 of 2016 was registered on the file of Yadagirigutta Police Station under Sections 409, 420, 120-B and 506 IPC read with Section 34 IPC.

In the light of the afore-stated developments, this Court finds no disobedience, much less willful disobedience, to the order passed by this Court

warranting exercise of contempt jurisdiction. The Contempt Case is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
