This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNSS') for grant of prearrest bail to the petitioners, who are arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 6 in Crime No.132 of 2026 on the file of Chikkadpally Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under

Sections 109, 127(2), 190 read with 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha, 2023.

The brief facts of the case are that on 22.04.2026 at about 15:38 hours, a statement of the complainant, Shaik Yasir, aged about 34 years, resident of Risala Kursheedzahi, Hyderabad, was recorded at Urooj Hospital, Moghalpura, in connection with MLC No.102. According to the complainant, on 21.04.2026 at about 04:00 hours, he went to inspect the centring work of his newly constructed house situated at Risala. After switching on the lights of the building, the accused persons allegedly noticed his presence and came to the upper floor of the building. It is alleged that the accused persons formed into a group, assaulted the complainant with iron rods and attempted to kill him. The complainant further alleged that accused Zoheb Khan @ Rasheed Khan attacked him with a knife and threatened to kill him.

Due to the assault, he sustained injuries to his head, left ear, and shoulder, and allegedly lost hearing in his left ear. The complainant further stated that in order to escape from the accused persons, he jumped onto the steps of the under-construction building and contacted Dial-100 for assistance.

injured ear. Subsequently, he was shifted to Urooj Hospital, Moghalpura, for further treatment. Based on the statement of the complainant, police registered Crime No.132/2026 under Sections 109, 127(2), 190 read with Section 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and took up investigation. Based on the same, present crime was registered.

Heard Mr.Vedula Venkata Ramana, learned Senior counsel for the petitioners and Mr.Vivekananda Reddy, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State. 4.

The petitioners are accused Nos.1 to 6 in Crime No.132 of 2026 and the accusations are that they have beaten the complainant by use of hands and by rods. The complainant received grievous injuries on head and ear and underwent surgery. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are ready to cooperate with the investigation and that the relationship between the complainant and as well as the petitioners is cordial and there was an attempt to compound the offences as well. Therefore, he prayed the Court to grant bail to the petitioner by allowing this Criminal Petition.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed the grant of bail and submitted that two grievous injuries have been caused by use of weapon i.e, rod and investigation is yet to be completed. Therefore, at this stage, granting of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner does not arise. Hence, he prayed the Court to dismiss the criminal petition.

Having gone through the material, this Court finds that the complaiant as well as the petitioners are known to each other and the complaiant has received bodily injuries and has been referred to the hospital as well and the investigation is yet to be completed, this Court is of the considered view that it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage. 8.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
