THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.16399 OF 2019 ORDER:

Heard.

2. Petitioner claims to have purchased land to an extent of Acs.15.21 guntas in survey No.423 of Alamkhanguda H/o.Mahalingapuram (Dhobipet) Village, Shankerpally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, by way of registered sale deed dated 15.03.2019. Petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the said land. Petitioner claims that he filed application before the Tahsildar on 28.03.2019 to mutate his name in the revenue records based on the sale deed executed in his favour by the vendors. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed.

3. As per the procedure evolved by the Government, application for mutation is to be made in a prescribed proforma and in Form-6A and such application has to be made through on-line web portal. The respondent authorities are not acting upon physical representations made for correction of revenue records. Apparently, petitioner has not made the application in the prescribed format. Therefore, it cannot be said that the respondents are illegally not acting upon the representation, warranting interference of this Court.

4. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make application in prescribed proforma and by following prescribed procedure for mutation, upon which the respondents shall consider the same expeditiously.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, in any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
