THE HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.5350 of 2020 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of FIR No.240 of 2020 dated 03.10.2020 on the file of Bahadurpura Police Station, Hyderabad District, registered against petitioners/Accused for the offence under Sections 354, 420, 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code.

No representation on behalf of the petitioners as well as respondent No.2. Even after posting this matter under the caption "infructuous matter", there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Sri S.Ganesh, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1/State is present.

Sri S.Ganesh, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1/State has filed a letter dated 30.11.2022 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Bahadurpura Police Station, Hyderabad stating that the case has been referred as 'Lack of Evidence' as per the proceedings of ACP, Charminar on 28.03.2021.

In view of the facts and circumstances, since the investigation is completed and charge sheet is filed, the very purpose of filing the Criminal Petition to quash the proceedings in FIR No.240 of 2020 is defeated and thereby the Criminal Petition has become infructuous and liable to be dismissed. 05.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
