THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CIVIL REVISION PETITION Nos.3891 and 3893 of 2016 COMMON ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner in O.P.No.148 of 2015 on the file of the learned Special Sessions Judge for Trial of Cases under SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989-cum-VII Additional District & Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B. Nagar, is that the applications in I.A.Nos.891 and 892 of 2016 filed by it in the said O.P. are not being taken up for hearing.

Sri Srikanth Hari Haran, learned counsel for the petitioner, would contend that though the cricketing season is from July to October for the year 2016-17 and the applications in question were filed in July itself, the same are being adjourned from time to time by the Court below and are not being adjudicated. Learned counsel would further point out that the petitioner-Club had an interim order for the year 2015-16 in I.A.No.523 of 2015 filed in this O.P. but despite the same, the same relief was not being granted for this year. This Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the matter at this stage. It is for the Court below to consider the applications filed by the petitioner-Club before it in the pending O.P. and decide the same in accordance with law after hearing both the parties. Adjourning the matter from time to time thereby rendering the I.As. infructuous would not serve the interests of the parties.

The civil revision petitions are disposed of directing the Court below to take up the subject I.As. and consider and dispose of the same on merits. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and preferably within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
