This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned order dated 07.03.2017 passed the 3rd respondent wherein the 3rd respondent by referring G.O.Ms.No.699, dated 28.08.1978, asked the petitioner to obtain orders from the competent Court for further examination of his request dated 15.03.2011 for appointment under compassionate grounds.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri P.Kesava Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation in all fairness stated that the impugned order cannot be sustained.
A perusal of the impugned order goes to show that it is passed without any application of mind. In view of the facts and circumstances, the impugned order dated 07.03.2017 is set aside and the 3rd respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
