HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 12469 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the circular dated 26.12.2002 and the notification dated 22.11.2002, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to the respondents to extend the standard schedule rates notified by the Government of A.P. for the year 2002-2003 onwards till the service of the petitioners are absorbed in the appropriate cadres.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is reported by the learned standing counsel for the respondent corporation that on 27.06.2003, this Court, while admitting the writ petition, passed an interim order in WPMP No.15502 of 2003 directing the respondent corporation not to reduce the wages and pay the wages to the petitioners as they were being paid earlier. In pursuance of the interim orders, the respondent corporation is paying the minimum wages to the petitioners.

Recording the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent corporation, the writ petition is closed.
