THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.37973 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the inaction of respondent No.2 in disposing of revision in ROR Revision No.D1/2512/2015, preferred by respondent Nos.5 and 6, as illegal and arbitrary.

3. A perusal of the material on record discloses that respondent Nos.5 and 6 preferred ROR Revision No.D1/2512/2015 before respondent No.2, questioning the order, dated 16.05.2015, in Appeal No.G/8241/2013, passed by respondent No.3 and the same is still pending consideration.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the revision was filed by respondent Nos.5 and 6, and as no orders are passed till now in the said revision, respondent No.4 is not mutating the name of the petitioner in the revenue records in respect of the subject land. Hence, seeks a direction to respondent No.2 to dispose of the revision at the earliest.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to dispose of the revision pending before him, after hearing the petitioner and respondent Nos.5 and 6, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
