The prayer reads as follows:

" ... Writ of Mandamus declaring i) that the Respondents are obligated to ensure the protection, and prevent the transgression, of the petitioners' constitutional rights in relation to, and ensure a smooth release and exhibition of, the petitioners' films "Zanjeer" and "Toofan" in the State of Andhra Pradesh; ii) that the Respondents have a constitutional duty to ensure law and order for expression of constitutional rights and fundamental rights of the petitioner and its members in exhibiting and communicating the petitioner's feature films "Janjir and Toofan" to the general public and iii) direct the respondents to take all necessary steps and precautions for ensuring the smooth release and exhibition of the petitioner's feature films "Zanjeer"

and "Toofan"

scheduled to release on 6th September, 2013 throughout the State of Andhra Pradesh without any unlawful interference or unruly disruption.."

On 05.09.2013, this Court issued the following interim direction: " Interim direction as prayed for. Notice"

With the interim direction dated 05.09.2013, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not interested in working out the writ prayer.
