When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners 1 and 3 have attained the age of superannuation; that the writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn against petitioner No.2 on 2.8.2002 and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
