HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO.16447 OF 2019 ORDER :
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies.

This writ petition is filed challenging seizure of 420 quintals of CMR Rice and 12,103 bags of paddy.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since proceedings under Section 6-A of Essential Commodities Act (for short 'the Act'), are pending with the competent authority, the writ petition may be disposed of directing the competent authority to pass orders in the above proceedings, expeditiously. 4.
Learned Government Pleader requests four weeks time to dispose of the proceedings under Section 6-A of the Act, which is pending before the competent authority.

Having regard to the respective submissions, without entering into merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Collector (Civil Supplies), Wanaparthy District-2nd respondent to pass orders on 6-A proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
