ORDER:

Heard.

2. Alleging that respondent Nos.3 and 4 are interfering with petitioner's liberty; civil matters; calling him to police station and making him to sit for hours together, the present writ petition is filed.

3. Instructions of the learned Government Pleader, however, show that there appears to be a land dispute between the petitioner and one Satish, who is stated to have approached the police and requested them to take appropriate action against the petitioner in connection with the said land dispute. Respondent Nos.2 and 3 are stated to have conducted a preliminary enquiry and after calling the petitioner and after verifying the record and having found that the dispute between the petitioner and the said Satish is of civil nature, both of them were advised to approach the civil court for resolution of their dispute and that they declined to interfere with the civil disputes.

4. In view of the said instructions, it is apparent that the respondent police have not interfered with regard to the dispute between the petitioner and the said Satish as it is a civil dispute. Hence, no further orders are necessary. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
