Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 4. 2.

Petitioners claim that they purchased lands admeasuring Acs.5.02 cents in Survey Nso.232-3, 236-3, 235-3; Acs.2.26 cents in Survey Nos.232-4, 236-4, 235-4; Acs.6.08 cents in Survey Nos.232-2, 236-2, 235-2 and Acs.2.19 cents in Survey Nos.232-1, 236-1 and 235-1 of Guvvadi Village, Varikuntapadu Mandal, SPSR Nellore District, from respondent No.5 by way of registered sale deed, dated 10.12.2013. Thereafter, they made application seeking mutation of their names in the revenue records and for issuance of pattadar passbooks and title deeds under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971. The said application, dated 08.11.2015, was received by A.P. Online and a receipt to that effect was issued to the petitioners. Alleging inaction on the said application, this Writ Petition is filed.

Since it is contended by the petitioners that they made application before the Tahsildar and the same is pending before him, the Tahsildar, Varikuntapadu Mandal, SPSR Nellore District, the 4th respondent, is directed to examine the claim of the petitioners as ventilated in their application and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
