HONOURABLE SRI J USTICE SURESH K UMAR K AIT CRIMINAL PETITION No. 16855 of 2016 ORDER:

Vide present Criminal Petition, the petitioner/Accused No.4 seeks to enlarge him on bail in Crime No.219 of 2016 registered on the file of Station House Officer, Police Station, Kadiyam, Rajamahendravaram (Urban) for the offences punishable under Section 8(a)(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act. Heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner/Accused No.4 and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent-State. Perused the material on record.

Keeping in view the active role of the petitioner and seizing of 420 Kgs of Ganja, which is a commercial quantity, from the possession of petitioner, thereby attracting the provisions of Section 37 of the NDPS Act, I do not find any reason to grant bail. The Criminal Petition is dismissed accordingly.
