Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the counsel, the writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not transferring the land to petitioner by conducting survey and demarcating the land admeasuring Ac.2.08 cents in Survey No.520/6 and 520/8 in Koruturu village, by fixing exact boundaries, as illegal, arbitrary.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 01-09-2011 made for handing over the lands referred to above. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue

submits that the request of the petitioner for passing orders on the representation dated 01-09-2011 may be accepted provided the same is still pending for consideration.

Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, the 3rd respondent-the Tahsildar, Indukur Mandal is directed to consider the representation dated 01-09-2011 made by the petitioner seeking fixation of boundaries and for handing over the subject land in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
