The Court made the following:
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO.14089 OF 2018 ORDER:
1.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.
Petitioners claim to be the owners of land to an extent of Acs.89.00 gts in Survey Nos.454, 455, 456, 457, 458, 459, 460, 461, 534, 535 and 190 of Gungal Village of Yacharam Mandal, Ibrahimpatnam Revenue Division of Ranga Reddy District. Alleging illegal deletion of their names and incorporation of third party names by the Tahsildar, the petitioners filed an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) who assigned appeal number as 69 of 2017. Petitioners also filed application for grant of interim stay pending appeal. Alleging inaction in the appeal preferred by the petitioners, this Writ Petition is filed. 3.
Material on record would disclose that on receipt of notice, the respondent before the appellate authority also filed objections. Thereafter, the issue is not finalised.
4.
Since the appeal is pending before the RDO, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the RDO to consider the appeal by giving due opportunity to the respective parties and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within ten (10) weeks. The RDO is also directed to consider the stay application filed by the petitioners affording opportunity to the parties and pass orders as warranted
by law within a period of two (2) weeks. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
