THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.AMARNATH GOUD WRI T PETI TI ON NO.9798 OF 2015 ORDER:

It is the case of the petitioner that freedom fighters pension is denied to her though the same was extended for few months. It is the case of Sri Kiran Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Assistant Solicitor General for respondent No.1 on the weightage of the counter that the petitioner is the dependant of her late husband who was employed with South Central Railway and getting pension from the Railways and also the freedom fighters pension, and as per the guidelines issued by the Government, the dependant is entitled for only one pension.

Sri V. Raghu, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent Andhra Bank also submits that the bank is paying pension to the petitioner on the account of South Central Railway. In view of the above submissions, this Writ Petition is dismissed as the petitioner is not entitled for second pension i.e., freedom fighters pension.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
