HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5992 of 2015 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is filed by the petitioners-Accused Nos.1 and 2 seeking grant of anticipatory bail in crime No.119 of 2015 on the file of I-Town Police Station, Kakinada, registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 read with 34 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioners is that on promise of giving pattas in favour of the de facto complainant and 8 others, the petitioners collected Rs.12,500/- from each of them and issued fake pattas and thereby, cheated the de facto complainant and others. Since the allegations made against the petitioners are serious in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to them at this stage.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to renew the application after a period of (15) days.
