This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the Petitioner/Accused No.18 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.48 of 2008, pending on the file of the Court of II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Rajahmundry, East Godavari District (for short, 'the trial Court'), registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 419, 465, 468 and 420 R/w.34 of I.P.C.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor, appearing for the 1st respondent - State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press upon the other grounds mentioned in the Petition and he only seeks for permission of this Court to withdraw this Criminal Petition with a liberty to file discharge petition before the Court below.

Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 6.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
