HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K.JAISWAL CRL.P.No.6749 of 2015 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is directed against the proceedings initiated against the petitioner-A1 by the Sub Inspector of Police, L.B.Nagar Police Station, Cyberabad, in Crime No.262 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 I.P.C.
On a complaint given by the 2nd respondent herein, a case in Crime No.262 of 2015 was registered against the petitioner-A1 and others for the aforesaid offences by the Sub Inspector of Police, L.B.Nagar Police Station, Cyberabad.
Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor, representing the State.
The complaint allegations shows that the petitioner-A1 being the Ex-President of Venkataramana Colony Residents Welfare Association, L.B. Nagar, Rangareddy District, along with other members of the association, had misappropriated the funds of the association to a tune of Rs.3,47,618/-. The allegations in the complaint prima facie reveal the commission of alleged offences by the petitioner-A1 and
other accused. It is a matter, which requires investigation by the police. Therefore, I see no grounds to interfere at this stage with the investigation of the case.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the Investigating Officer shall proceed with the investigation expeditiously.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
