HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.31305 OF 2017 ORDER:

The case of the petitioner is that disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the petitioner on 18-08-2011 vide Proceedings No.370/132/2011/Adm-I.1., dated 18-08-2011 by the 1st respondent. Even after six years, without issuing charge memo said proceedings are kept pending. It is also the case of the petitioner that on the same allegations, a criminal case was registered against the petitioner in Cr.No.63 of 2011 on the file of CCS, Hyderabad on 09-03-2011 and the same was quashed in Crl.P.No.5149 of 2011 by this Court. The petitioner who was suspended from service was also reinstated into service. As such, the petitioner made representations dated 16-09-2016, 04-07-2017 and 26-08-2017 for dropping the disciplinary proceedings. As no orders are passed, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard Sri Gandra Mohan Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri C.Jagannatha Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-University.

Since the grievance of the petitioner is pending before the competent authority by way of representation, the competent authority is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and take decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the respondents take decision to drop the

proceedings against the petitioner, he is entitled for all the benefits.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J 19-09-2017 Nvl
