ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner's case for employment on compassionate grounds, not arranging the gratuity amount, un-availed E.L wages of the petitioner's deceased father, not arranging SRBS by the 4th respondent, not arranging the pension payable from November, 2005 as illegal, unjust and in violation of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India as well as service rules, payment of Gratuity act and pension and direct the respondents to arrange the above benefits along with interest in the interest of justice and fair play."

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been provided with employment on compassionate grounds and also paid service benefits of the deceased employees and that therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Learned counsel, however, requested that liberty may be given to the petitioners to pursue their remedies if any of the service benefits of the deceased employees are not paid to them.

In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to pursue their

remedies if any of the service benefits of the deceased employees are not paid to them.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
