HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR Writ Petition No. 5466 of 2011 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioners was that the police authorities were interfering with the civil dispute pending between them and Latchi Krishna

Kumari, the 5th respondent, and were insisting upon their vacating the land admeasuring Acs.0.66 cents in D.No. 394 of Sekuru Village, Chebrolu Mandal, Guntur District.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, basing upon the written instructions dated 9.3.2011 received from the Station House Officer, Chebrolu Police Station, Guntur District, informed the Court that a complaint had been made by the petitioners' mother on 11.2.2011 before the Station House Officer, Chebrolu Police Station, Guntur District, and the matter was enquired into. The enquiry revealed that the dispute was of a civil nature and that a suit was also pending before the competent Civil Court. The Station House Officer, Chebrolu Police Station, denied that the petitioners were ever called to the police station or were asked to vacate the subject land. He further stated that the police authorities did not interfere with the civil dispute pending between the petitioners and the 5th respondent at any point of time. In the light of the stand put forth by the police authorities, which is duly taken on record, the complaint of the petitioners does not survive. The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
