The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint dt.20-08-2016 against certain named persons to the 4th respondent alleging that they have assaulted him with deadly weapons resulting in inflicting of serious injuries on the petitioner, but the 4th respondent has not taken any action thereon. 2.

Learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4 states that F.I.R.No.174 of 2016 has been registered on 14-09-2016 by 4th respondent.

Therefore the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to conduct investigation into the allegations leveled by petitioner in the complaint dt.20-08-2016 and file appropriate final report before the competent Court expeditiously. No costs. 4.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
