Heard.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the 3rd respondent is pressurizing him to handover a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to the 4th respondent. The petitioner specifically states that he is neither accused nor any way concerned with Cr.No.12 of 2015 registered on the file of the 4th respondent. But, respondents 3 and 4 are threatening him to implicate in the said crime.

Learned Government Pleader has received instructions, which state that the aforesaid crime was initially registered against A1 and A1 has obtained anticipatory bail from the learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Judge Family Court, Adilabad. As per the directions of the said Court, A1 surrendered before the investigating agency on 17-03-2015, whereupon he was interrogated and his statement was recorded. During his confessional statement, he is stated to have mentioned the names of one Mr.Parvath Anjaiah and the petitioner herein and stated that they have also participated in the commission of offence. Based on which, the petitioner herein is stated to have added as A4 and the said Parvath Anjaiah as A2. A2, A3, A5 and A6 were stated to have been arrested on 26-04-2015 except the petitioner.

It is stated that the petitioner is absconding and there is no question of calling him to the police station and pressurizing him as alleged. Evidently, the crime is already registered and the investigation is in progress. The petitioner being A4 has to take appropriate further steps as now he noticed that he is one of the accused in the said crime. Hence, the very basis of the present writ petition that he is not an accused in the said crime does not any more subsist.
