THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO.14170 OF 2018 ORDER:

1.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

Petitioner's mother purchased land to an extent of Acs.9.00 gts in Survey No.3 of Dhummugudem Village and Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, vide registered sale deed dated 12.04.1971 from one V.Kotaiah. Since then, she has been in possession and enjoyment of the same as absolute owner. The petitioner's mother died on 28.03.1988 leaving himself and his brother as legal heirs. On 06.11.1992, his brother executed registered relinquishment deed in his favour. Since then, the petitioner has been enjoying the subject land as absolute owner and cultivating the same. On 06.02.2018, he submitted representation to the Mandal Revenue Officer-third respondent to mutate his name and issue pattadar passbook and title deeds in his favour and also to fix the boundaries since the boundaries have been disturbed long back during his absence. Alleging inaction of the third respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed. 3.

However, it is seen from the record that on 06.02.2018, FLine application was made by the petitioner to conduct survey by paying the requisite fee and receipt to that effect was also issued by Mee-seva.

4.

Since F-Line application is only made by the petitioner, the Tahsildar, Dhummugudem Mandal, Bhadradri, Kothagudem District, is directed to examine the request of petitioner strictly in accordance with law and as per the guidelines of Commissioner,

Survey Settlements and Land Records, Andhra Pradesh. Such exercise shall be completed and suitable reply be furnished to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within ten (10) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
