O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities were not registering a crime based on her complaint dated 30.06.2015. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, having received written instructions dated 19.08.2015 from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Venkatachala Satram Police Station, SPSR Nellore District, informed this Court that the petitioner filed a private complaint before the learned IV Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Nellore, with the same allegations as were contained in her complaint dated 30.06.2015 lodged with the Police Station. The said complaint was forwarded by the Court to the police authorities and thereupon, Crime No.115 of 2015 was stated to have been registered on the file of Venkatachala Satram Police Station under Sections 323, 354, 427 and 447 IPC read with Section 34 IPC. Investigation was stated to be in progress.

In the light of the aforestated facts, it is clear that the grievance of the petitioner as to inaction on the part of the police authorities in response to her complaint stands redressed.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
