Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the non-consideration of the petitioner's application for release of DCM van bearing registration No.AP 28 TC 0286 on furnishing bank guarantee, pending proceedings under Section 6A of the Essential Commodities Act before the second respondent. Even though time was granted to the learned Government Pleader on 02.06.2015, no instructions came forward.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to release the DCM van bearing registration No.AP 28 TC 0286 seized on 11.03.2015 at Nagaram Village, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, on the petitioner furnishing a bank guarantee for a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakhs only), within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, pending consideration of the 6A proceedings. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
