THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.41434 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition, under Article 226 of Constitution of India, is filed seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to complete the investigation in Crime No.14 of 2016 on the file of Chodavaram Police Station, Visakhapatnam Rural, Visakhapatnam District immediately.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.2 registered the aforementioned crime against respondent No.3 herein for the offences under Sections 420, 406, 409, 468, 467, 471 and 120-B read with 34 I.P.C., but he is not taking any steps to investigate the matter and file charge sheet.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner and as the F.I.R. was registered on 29.1.2016, respondent No.2 is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.14 of 2016 on the file of Chodavaram Police Station, Visakhapatnam Rural, Visakhapatnam District as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, in either way in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) months from today.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
