Petitioner complains against inaction of respondents 2 and 3 in disposing of the application filed by petitioner for renewal of licence issued to petitioner under Category-II (Electronic Wieghing Machines Repairing Service).

I have perused the annexures filed along with the writ petition. On account of delay in taking a decision in disposing of the application filed by the petitioner for renewal, the petitioner is likely to suffer loss of earning or hardship.

Hence, without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondents 2 and 3 to pass orders on the application filed by petitioner for renewal of licence within four

(4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Petitioner is given liberty to resubmit the application along with copy of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
