THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT WRIT PETITION NO.6764 OF 2016 ORDER: {Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} The proceedings under challenge in this Writ Petition is a demand notice whereby the petitioner was called upon to pay CST arrears of Rs.58,37,738/- for the years 2008-09 and 2010-11. The demand notice was preceded by an assessment order which is subjected to challenge in this Writ Petition.

Sri S.Dwarakanath, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to question the assessment order in accordance with law.

Granting liberty as sought for, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
