HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.904 of 2011 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed praying to grant the following relief : "To declare the impugned notification bearing No.404/10(pt)/976, dt.15.12.2010, issued by the 2nd respondent in respect of appointment of 5 post of technical officers at Security Printing Press, Hyderabad and other units as illegal, arbitrary, not only contrary to the Recruitment Rules but also violative of principles of natural justice."

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri P.Bhakthavatsal, learned standing counsel for the respondents 2 and 3.

3. The categorical stand of the respondents is that no selections were finalized in pursuant to the impugned notification. In fact subsequently, another notification was also issued and selections were made in terms thereof.

4. In view of the stand of the respondents that selections were not taken up in pursuant to the impugned notification, no cause survives in the writ petition

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. It is needless to observe that, if the petitioners are aggrieved by the subsequent selections also, they are at liberty to avail remedies as available in law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
