THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.8317 of 2009 ORDER:

The order, dated 07.03.2009 passed by the first respondent refusing to renew the licence of the petitioner is challenged before this Court.

The petitioner had applied for licence for the year 2008-09. Under the relevant Rules, the licence period is only one year.

In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the application, if any submitted for granting fresh licence in accordance with the Rules without regard to the rejection of renewal of licence on earlier occasions. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
