THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.24559 OF 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not granting family pension/compassionate appointment to the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently, direct the respondents to consider the representation, dated 10.06.2002, of the petitioner in the interest of justice.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner requested the Court to direct the respondents herein to consider the representation, dated 10.06.2002, of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.

Considering all the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are hereby directed to consider the representation, dated 10.06.2002, of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
