HON'BLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI I.A.No.3 of 2019 In/and CRIMINAL PETITION No.4685 of 2019 COMMON ORDER:

The Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash Crime No.136 of 2019 on the file of Narketpally Police Station, Nalgonda District, registered for the offence under Section 304(A) IPC. i.A.No.3 of 2019 is filed seeking to record compromise between the petitioner and respondent No.2 by quashing the aforesaid crime.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioneraccused and respondent No.2-complainant are present. They produced copies of their respective identity proofs and they are also identified by their respective counsel. Both the parties stated that they have amicably settled the matter and that the terms of settlement are reduced into writing in the form of a Joint Memo, which was signed by both the parties and their respective counsel. In the affidavit, filed in support of the application, respondent No.2 stated that pursuant to the settlement, she agreed to receive a sum of Rs.3 lakhs(Rupees Three lakhs only) and that the proceedings may be quashed against the petitioner-accused. In view of the above, I.A.No.3 of 2019 is allowed and the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing Crime No.136 of 2019 on the file of Narketpally Police Station, Nalgonda District.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
