THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.15404 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.") to modify the order dated 14.07.2015 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1220 of 2015 in C.C.No.136 of 2013 by the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate - cum - Special Court for Trial of Video Piracy Cases, Hyderabad, whereby passports of the petitioners were ordered to be released on execution of bond for Rs.2,00,000/- with one surety each for the like sum each.

Sri S.Madhava Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners/accused Nos.2 and 3, would contend that the passport of the accused No.1 has been released without execution of any bond and allowed to move to United States of America, whereas the petitioners herein intend to go to Singapore and Dubai, where their daughters are residing, but they could not produce surety for Rs.2,00,000/- and requested to reduce the surety amount.

In view of the inability of the petitioners to produce surety for Rs.2,00,000/-, the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.1220 of 2015 in C.C.No.136 of 2013 by the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate - cum - Special Court for Trial Video Piracy Cases, Hyderabad is modified and the petitioners are directed to execute a bond for Rs.1,50,000/- with one surety each for the like sum each. With the above, the petition is disposed of. No costs. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
