This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.3 & A.4, to quash the proceedings in Crime No.164 of of Vanasthalipuram Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406 read with 34 of I.P.C.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.3 & A.4, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent-State and perused the record.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the daughter of the de-facto complainant lodged a report with the police on similar allegations. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners/ A.3 & A.4 have filed a Criminal Petition before this Court in Crl.P.No.12373 of 2017, wherein, this Court directed the Station House Officer concerned to follow the procedure laid down under Section 41A of Cr.P.C. and adhere to the guidelines formulated by the Apex Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar Vs. St at e of Bih ar 1.

Having regard to the submissions and the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioners/ A.3 & A.4, the Station House Officer concerned is directed to complete the investigation 1 (2014) 8 SCC 273
and file Final Report before the Court concerned, without arresting the petitioner/ A.3 & A.4.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
