This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent in not allowing petitioner for duties as a conductor as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondent to permit him for duties as a conductor forthwith."

At the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order dt.3.7.2007 passed in W.P.M.P.
