HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.14398 OF 2018 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, report of the Medical Board dated 28.02.2019 in respect of the petitioner is submitted to this Court in a sealed cover, wherein the Medical Board opined that the petitioner's age is between 60 and 70 years, and the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for a direction to continue him in service, as his age was incorrectly determined. Learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly admitted that the age of retirement for Home Guards is 58 years and as per the report of the Medical Board, the age of the petitioner is between 60 and 70 years.

In view of the report of the Medical Board submitted by Osmania University, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 8th January, 2020 v v
