THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY WRIT PETITION No.24786 of 2015 06.11.2015 Between:

Adepu Laxmi .. Petitioner and Balasani Swarupa and others .. Respondents Counsel for the petitioner: Mr.Shankar Ambati Counsel for the respondents: None appeared The Court made the following:

ORDER:

The petitioner, who filed election O.P.No.2 of 2013 in the Court of the Junior Civil Judge-cum-Election Tribunal, Manthani, Karimnagar District, filed this writ petition feeling aggrieved by non-disposal of the said O.P. despite lapse of more than two years.

Considering the fact that the elected term of the returned candidate is five years and more than two years had elapsed by now, expediency warrants expeditious disposal of the election petition as otherwise the very purpose of providing the remedy of challenging the validity of an election will be rendered nugatory.

In the above view of the matter, the learned Junior Civil Judge-cum-Election Tribunal, Manthani, Karimnagar District, is directed to dispose of election O.P.No.2 of 2013 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, fixing the schedule of the trial, and if necessary on a day-to-day basis. Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.32176 of 2015 filed by the petitioner for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous. _________________________ C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY, J 06th November, 2015 GHN
