Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Petitioner claims that he purchased land to an extent of Ac.1.12 guntas in Survey No.34/E of Rajupeta Village, Kusumanchi Mandal, Khammam District, by way of registered sale deed, dated 28.06.2001. He alleges that he filed an application on 19.06.2017 followed by a representation dated 23.02.2018 to mutate his name in the revenue records, but the same are not acted upon. Hence, this Writ Petition.

The applications/representations stated to have been filed are enclosed as Exs.P1 and P2. A reading of the same would show that the petitioner was only requesting in the form of a representation to mutate his name in the revenue, whereas the Government has prescribed a particular procedure for mutation of the names and Form VI-A should be made through online web portal. Admittedly, the petitioner has not submitted such application. Therefore, it cannot be said that the respondent authorities are not acting upon the applications/representations of the petitioner. 4.

Granting liberty to the petitioner to make an application in the prescribed form with supporting documents requesting the respondent authorities to mutate his name in the revenue records, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
