Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.
The first petitioner claims to be the owner, pattadar and in possession of agricultural land to an extent of Ac.1.00 in Survey No.486/Ru and an extent of Ac.0.30 gts in Survey No.487/Ru of Polepally Village, Jadcherla Mandal, Mahabubnagar District. The second petitioner claims to be the owner, pattadar and in possession of an extent of Ac.1.0 in Survey No.486/Uu and an extent of Ac.1.0 gts in Survey No.487/U of the same village. Petitioners applied for conducting of survey through online on 18.07.2017. Alleging inaction, the petitioners filed the present Writ Petition.

It appears that survey is not conducted even though request is made long back. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that if application is pending with the Tahsildar for conducting survey, the Tahsildar shall take appropriate steps on the request made by the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Tahsildar to consider the application of the petitioners for conducting survey and take a decision, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the Tahsildar shall follow the due procedure under
the A.P. Record of Rights in Land Act, 1971 and the A.P. Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, if any other person is interested in the subject property or in the adjacent properties. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
