THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.16722 of 2019 ORDER:

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "...to declare the action of respondent police more particularly respondent No.4 in harassing the petitioner in the name of arrest in crime related to FIR No.360 of 2019, dated 20.07.2019, on the file of respondent No.4 i.e., The Station House Officer, RGI Airport, Cyberabad, even though the petitioner is not an accused and he is not involved in any crime, as illegal, arbitrary and in violative of article 14 and 21, beside in violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondent police more particularly respondent No.4 not to harass the petitioner in the name of arrest in crime relating to FIR No 360 of 2019, dated 20.07.2019 and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Government Pleader for Home on written instructions, dated 06.08.2019, submits that during course of investigation, the petitioner was arrayed as accused No.1 in Crime No.360 of 2019 of RGI Airport Police Station for the offence under Section 420 and 506 IPC.

Inasmuch as crime has already been registered against the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that no further order can be passed in the writ petition and it is liable to be dismissed. 4.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed, granting liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy in Crime No.360 of 2019 registered against him.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
